Description

This role is for a highly technical individual contributor aiming to excel as a Principal Engineer within a modern product organization. The position requires strong hands-on engineering experience and leadership experience comparable to a Staff Engineer or Principal Engineer. Knowledge of enterprise architecture integrated with contemporary engineering practices is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Act as the highest technical authority and ensure the coherence of the technical landscape

• Own the long-term technical direction and enterprise architecture

• Set architectural principles and standards for development

• Translate business strategy into actionable technical strategy

• Maintain a rolling architectural outlook of 6–24 months

• Make key irreversible decisions regarding system evolution

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on engineering experience

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a product organization

• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture

• Ability to make informed architectural decisions

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
