C++ Engineer

We are looking for skilled software engineers to deliver the next generation of navigation services. The assignment is for contractors who are passionate about building the world’s best navigation platform at massive scale.

Start date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term project (12-month contract with potential extension)

Key Qualifications

• Industry experience in C++ and Linux
• Strong understanding of common data structures and basic graph algorithms
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Inquisitive and highly motivated self-starter
• Passion for building and designing exceptional products

Nice to Have

• Sufficient, proven experience in ML

Responsibilities

• Design navigation features that will be used by millions worldwide
• Develop features that make navigation clear, natural, and friendly
• Work on high-performance code using C++
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Handle code maintenance duties, including incident screening and bug identification
• Work with engineers and QA to deliver high-quality routes to customers
• Influence the future navigation guidance product direction
• Assist with various team and system support needs

Education & Experience

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline will be considered
