Description

You will help build a new cross-platform agent from the ground up as part of a greenfield platform running across Windows, Linux, and macOS. The role focuses on designing and developing core platform capabilities using Rust to create reliable, secure, and high-performing system-level software, contributing to architectural decisions and driving engineering excellence through collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a new Rust-based cross-platform agent
  • Build capabilities that integrate deeply with Windows, Linux, and macOS
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
  • Develop reliable, secure, and performant system-level software
  • Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to solve complex customer challenges
  • Apply modern engineering practices across testing, automation, CI/CD, and observability
  • Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with teammates
  • Help improve development processes, tooling, and overall software quality

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing software in Rust, C++, or other systems programming languages, with an interest in building production-grade system-level software
  • Experience working across one or more operating systems, including Windows, Linux, or macOS
  • Understanding of operating system concepts, networking, file systems, and process-level behavior
  • Experience integrating or working with multi-language codebases, including Rust and C/C++
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on complex technical challenges
  • Experience with modern development practices, including testing, automation, CI pipelines, and build systems such as Cargo and CMake
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from and support others
  • Passion for building high-quality software and continuously improving engineering practices
