Description

You will manage security configurations and security policies in an environment spanning on-prem and cloud, continuously improving them. The role includes investigating alerts and security incidents and coordinating technical actions as part of response and remediation. You will administer security controls based on Microsoft Entra ID (including Conditional Access), implement and manage MFA, work with Microsoft Defender, and support Zero Trust and least-privilege/identity-driven security.

Responsibilities

  • Manage security configurations and security policies; optimize them for on-prem and cloud
  • Investigate alerts and security incidents; coordinate technical activities for response and remediation
  • Administer security controls in Microsoft Entra ID and audit them (e.g., Conditional Access, MFA)
  • Work with Microsoft Defender
  • Administer network security mechanisms: firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, web traffic filtering, and network segmentation
  • Work with Fortinet, Zscaler, Microsoft Azure, Cisco, and Check Point
  • Implement Zero Trust, least privilege, and identity-driven security approaches
  • Provide subject-matter support for L1/L2
  • Collaborate with clients and external security service providers

Requirements

  • Practical experience in IT Security Operations or security administration
  • Understanding of security principles across identity, endpoints, networks, and cloud environments
  • Experience in vulnerability management processes and remediation
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and identity security
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud)
  • Understanding of security monitoring, log analysis, and incident investigation
  • Understanding of Zero Trust concepts and least privilege
  • Ability to independently investigate security issues, estimate risk, and propose appropriate remediation solutions
  • Solid understanding of enterprise networking basics
  • English at least B2
