Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software applications and solutions using Java or Python, including backend development and full-stack contributions, as well as data engineering work such as ETL/ELT processes, Data Pipelines, and big data processing with Apache Spark/Spark SQL.

You will also design and integrate REST API and Web Services, build user interfaces with Angular/TypeScript, and work with relational databases and SQL. In parallel, you will lead team coordination and contribute to project planning in an international Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications and software solutions in Java or Python
  • Design and develop ETL/ELT processes and Data Pipelines
  • Process large datasets with Apache Spark / Spark SQL
  • Design and integrate REST API and Web Services
  • Develop backend solutions and participate in Full Stack work
  • Create and develop UI using Angular / TypeScript
  • Design software architecture, interfaces, and modular system solutions
  • Work with relational databases and SQL
  • Create and maintain automated tests: unit, integration, and API tests
  • Work with containerized applications and Kubernetes / Cloud / Private Cloud environments
  • Support CI/CD processes and ensure software quality
  • Participate in project management: plan work and coordinate team activities
  • Lead the team and support effective organization of work
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders in an international environment

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of practical experience building software with Java or Python
  • Minimum 4 years experience in processing structured data including SQL, ETL/ELT or Data Pipelines
  • Minimum 4 years experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Practical experience in multiple projects related to creating or integrating REST API / Web Services
  • Minimum 3 years experience with Git (branching, Pull/Merge Requests, code reviews)
  • Minimum 3 years experience with automated testing
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with containerized applications
  • Minimum 4 years experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in project management
  • Minimum 2 years experience in team leadership
  • Very good knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Very good German and English language skills (at least C1)
