DevOps Engineer (m/f/n)

You will join a strategic project for a European institution linked to security and border-control activities. The project aims to develop a new generation of systems capable of reporting and disseminating incident information in real time.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will participate in implementing web-based applications based on microservices and micro-frontends and design and implement CI/CD solutions. The project will be developed using the Scrum methodology.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, document, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines; identify associated risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Define automated workflows for code compilation, quality checks, security scanning, testing, packaging, and deployment across project environments.
• Configure and maintain development, testing, staging, and production environments; support infrastructure-as-code practices and ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, and recovery procedures; apply DevSecOps principles and ensure compliance with security and operational standards.
• Support analysts and development teams with technical and operational requirements, deployment and integration challenges, release strategies, environment needs, and DevOps documentation.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience in DevOps, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, preferably supporting complex applications for large organizations.
• Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps services, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts, plus automated build, testing, packaging, and deployment processes.
• Deep practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, environment management, deployment automation, configuration management, and cloud-based development practices.
• Good knowledge of Node.js, C#/.NET, GraphQL, and modern software development practices, including object-oriented and functional programming.
• Knowledge of microservices, micro-frontend architecture, and Single Page Applications, including integration, deployment, scalability, and operational requirements.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments, with the ability to work effectively in a team, share knowledge, support development teams, and guide team members.
• Excellent English, minimum C1 level.
