Experienced Data Engineer with GCP

Description

As a Data Engineer, you will design and implement ingestion and transformation pipelines, build data models, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders. You will join a greenfield data platform project for a Nordic client.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end ELT data pipelines on GCP using BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Design data models from large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements.
• Take a holistic platform view across source systems, networking, orchestration, and related components to deliver business value.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet client needs and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with cloud data warehouses; BigQuery preferred.
• Deep understanding of data modeling techniques; dimensional modeling and Data Vault are beneficial.
• Proficiency combining SQL and Python with a modern ELT toolset; Cloud Dataflow is beneficial.
• Experience with Airflow, Dagster, or another orchestration tool.
• Effective communication skills and proficiency in Polish and English.
• Legal right to work in the EU.
