Senior Databricks Data Engineer

Role description

As a Databricks Data Engineer, you will design and implement ingestion and transformation pipelines and data models while collaborating closely with business stakeholders. The role requires several years of experience with the Azure data stack and cloud, with a focus on creating customer value.

This job is all about

• Building end-to-end ELT data pipelines on a Databricks platform
• Designing data models based on large, complex datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
• Maintaining a holistic platform view across source systems, networking, orchestration, and related areas to deliver business value
• Collaborating within project teams to meet client needs and deliver high-quality solutions

Here’s what we’re looking for

• Minimum 2–3 projects with hands-on Databricks experience
• Proficiency with Spark and Python
• Ability to drive end-to-end migration programs
• Experience with ADF, Airflow, or other orchestration tools
• SQL knowledge and understanding of dimensional data modeling techniques; Data Vault is a plus
• Effective communication skills and proficiency in Polish and English
• Legal right to work in the EU
