C++/C# Developer

The product

Flight Deck Pro is a Windows application used by pilots and airline operations teams, alongside CDL, a native library that delivers navigation and document data to aircraft. The front end uses UWP and XAML, application logic is written in C#, and C++ is used underneath.

Looking for

• Experience with C# and C++14 or newer
• Windows client development
• UWP and XAML, or WPF
• Visual Studio, MSBuild, NuGet, and Windows SDK
• Asynchronous programming and multithreaded workflows
• Experience with large existing codebases and legacy components
• Debugging across C#, C++, and the native/managed boundary
• Unit and integration testing
• HTTP and REST integrations, error handling, retries, and logging
• Certificates, authentication flows, and secure storage
• A degree in software engineering, computer science, electronics and telecommunications, or a related technical field
• Communicative English for daily work with stakeholders in the United States
• Polish, the language the team uses day to day

Nice to have

• C++/CX or C++/WinRT
• DirectX, OpenGL, Win2D, or map and graphics rendering
• SQLite or other local persistence
• SDK and library development
• OpenSSL or certificate and crypto work
• Swift, Objective-C, or Xcode
• Open-source or multi-repo development

What the role offers

• Polish employment contract, 20,000 to 23,000 PLN gross per month
• Fully remote from anywhere in Poland, with around ten office days a year in Gdansk

The role requires the right to live and work in Poland. There is no relocation support.
