Senior Solution Architect

Description

Operate at the intersection of People & Culture business needs, enterprise architecture standards, and technical execution, providing overall architectural governance across the core HR, payroll, time, rewards, and employee experience stack.

Serve as the architectural lead for key platforms, including Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, and global and regional payroll and time engines such as ADP, Ramco, and Euhreka. Ensure technical solutions comply with global data privacy regulations, including GDPR, by owning technical security artifacts, most notably mandatory System Risk Assessments (SRAs).

Responsibilities

• Design resilient, scalable solution architectures across the Workforce product portfolio, including Workday Core, ServiceNow HRSD, Total Rewards, Time & Absence, and External Workforce.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, FAIR data principles, and the overarching Capability Factory mission.
• Architect seamless, secure integration pathways across heterogeneous platforms, connecting global core platforms with regional and local payroll and time systems.
• Lead technical evaluation and authoring of mandatory compliance documentation for Workforce systems, including SRAs and data privacy assessments under GDPR and local labor laws.
• Create and maintain conceptual and logical data models, integration taxonomies, system interaction diagrams, and enterprise ontologies for People & Culture data.
• Establish reference architectures and enforce Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) across Payroll, Time, Benefits, People Data, People Relations, and Mobility.
• Evaluate emerging HR technology capabilities, including ServiceNow NowAssist and AI automation, while evaluating, prioritizing, and decommissioning technical debt.
• Define and maintain non-functional requirements (NFRs), security baselines, system reliability, and fitness functions across the lifecycle of Workforce products.
• Ensure architectural alignment with global regulatory standards, successful completion of SRAs, and readiness for data privacy and security audits.
• Develop and maintain the multi-year technology landscape roadmap for the Workforce product circle.
• Translate complex technical and risk concepts for People & Culture leadership, internal IT circles, and external service delivery partners.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect designing enterprise-scale HR and Workforce solutions.
• Hands-on architecture and integration experience with Workday, including HCM, Core Data, and Security.
• Experience with the ServiceNow HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) module and workflow automation.
• Experience integrating global and regional payroll and time engines, including ADP, Ramco, and Euhreka.
• Strong understanding of data protection frameworks, including GDPR and international labor laws, with hands-on experience authoring technical security assessments such as SRAs.
• Proven ability with API management, event-driven architecture, identity management, and FAIR data principles.
• Outstanding ability to bridge business requirements with deep technical execution across cross-functional global teams.
