ERP/SAP System Architect

We are searching for an ERP/SAP System Architect in the area of Asset / Investment Management & Leasing. This role is based in the ERP & Business Solutions division, delivering future-ready, enterprise-scale digital foundations across a global landscape. Operating at the intersection of business strategy, regulatory compliance, and complex ERP architecture, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle and compliance of critical Artworks systems. Your responsibilities

• Drive engineering maturity by mentoring an agile team of consultants and developers in modern clean-code principles and sustainable architectural design. Coach team members through architectural reviews, design discussions, and continuous feedback, building a culture of technical ownership and maintainable, resilient solutions.
• Design and guide maintainable, standardized solutions grounded in clean-code principles within an agile setup across the SAP S/4HANA landscape. Craft best-in-class data architectures, engage in detailed technical discussions with developers, and drive complex integrations.
• Act as a technical advisor by evaluating business requests and guiding stakeholders toward solutions that balance business goals with sustainable, long-term IT stability.
• Partner with Global Business teams, Business Value Stream Leads, and Product Owners to translate Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management requirements into actionable SAP S/4HANA proposals. Evaluate needs, balance priorities, and ensure alignment between strategic business goals and IT execution.
• Deliver reusable, discoverable, and well-governed Data Products for a regulated pharmaceutical landscape. Embed compliance with GxP, GDPR, FDA, EMA regulations, and Computer System Validation (CSV) into the architectural lifecycle.
• Enforce robust data classification, access control, and traceability to keep solutions audit-ready.
• Shape the long-term technical vision for the Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management domain. Evaluate technologies, integration frameworks, and SAP S/4HANA ecosystem enhancements to prevent technical debt and support future business and regulatory needs.

We are looking for you, if you have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration, with a proven track record of designing business-driven solutions in complex enterprise ERP environments.
• 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar lead role within SAP S/4HANA, with deep domain expertise in Asset Management, Leasing, and Investment Management.
• Practical experience in heavily regulated environments, such as Pharma or Biotech, with exposure to GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), and GDPR, is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and collaborative leadership skills; ability to align business and IT stakeholders and find constructive solutions in complex organizational settings.
• Fluent business English.
• Solid working knowledge of Agile, SAFe, Jira, ServiceNow, integration and middleware patterns, and multicultural onsite-offshore collaboration models.
