T Hub IoT Test Automation Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Perform UI and API testing for Deutsche Telekom services, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple platforms.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to support efficient and scalable testing processes.
• Conduct self-organized acceptance testing with a strong focus on functional validation.
• Analyze validation requirements and apply appropriate testing methodologies tailored to current project needs.
• Optimize testing efficiency by implementing best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
• Identify, investigate, and perform detailed root cause analysis of defects detected during testing.
• Assess the severity of issues and provide clear customer impact evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with test automation engineers and cross-functional teams, sharing technical expertise and supporting team development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure smooth cooperation and alignment.

Our requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience in software testing.
• Work experience in agile QA or Test Management.
• Understanding of testing frameworks and tools: Playwright, Cucumber, PyTest.
• Experience in test automation in Python, including knowledge of the Page Object Model.
• Experience in API testing and maintaining API requests.
• Knowledge of system integration testing.
• Knowledge of test data management: Jira, xRay, Confluence.
• Knowledge of version control tools: Git, GitLab.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, including command line and scripting.
• English level: Intermediate+ (B2).

Optional

• Understanding of telecommunication fundamentals.
• Ability to develop and improve a test strategy based on new requirements.
