Application Support Engineer / Windows System Administrator

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot MS SQL Server databases.
• Coordinate deployments, releases, patches, and system changes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including Runbooks, DR Plans, and SOPs.
• Support Incident and Change Management processes.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration, configuration, and maintenance; the entire MS-Pension environment runs on Windows Servers.
• Good knowledge of MS SQL Server, including the ability to manage, configure, and troubleshoot database-related issues.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including Runbooks, Disaster Recovery Plans, and SOPs.
• Solid understanding of deployment processes, including managing releases and implementing changes and patches in test and production environments.
• Familiarity with corporate IT procedures, including Change Management and Incident Management; ServiceNow knowledge is preferred.
