Senior Finance Business Analyst (Oracle Cloud Fusion)

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a skilled Finance Change Business Analyst with expertise in Oracle Fusion to support finance transformation projects. This role involves delivering critical business analysis, providing documentation, and supporting system configuration and testing efforts for transitioning from Oracle EBS to Oracle Cloud Fusion. Candidates must possess a strong accounting background and demonstrated experience in finance change programs.

Main Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders and implementation partners to validate solution design.
• Support system configuration, data analysis, and finance process transformation.
• Prepare and execute SIT and UAT, ensuring successful delivery and business sign-off.
• Drive business analysis activities and support project documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Interpret and document business requirements into actionable deliverables.
• Devise and articulate clear activity plans for senior management approval.
• Monitor development progress and ensure timely delivery of core deliverables.
• Support project documentation and status updates.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and integration testing as required.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Finance Transformation or ERP implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, including IFRS.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion and/or Oracle EBS.
• Experience gathering business requirements and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
• Practical experience with SIT/UAT planning and execution.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL and Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.
• Qualified accountant familiar with IFRS reporting standards.
• Knowledge of other GAAPs (French, German, Japanese) is advantageous.
• Relevant technical degree in accounting or financial disciplines.
• Experience in finance transformation/change programs in banking.
• Proven ability to conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather business requirements.
• Extensive experience on data-related projects; project management qualifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with end user automation and reporting tools is desirable.

Nice to Have

• Experience within Commercial Banking, Investment Banking, or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of Oracle EPM modules.
• Experience with automation or reporting tools (RPA, BI, macros).

Other Details

This position covers multiple EMEA entities during the major transition project and may require occasional out-of-hours work to accommodate global team dynamics and deliverables.
