Microsoft Security Specialist

Emagine is seeking a Microsoft Security Specialist to join a collaborative and fast-paced project environment in Portugal. This role is ideal for a professional with solid experience in cybersecurity and Microsoft technologies, looking to grow within IT Security & Cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Security solutions and frameworks.

You will support the implementation, optimization, and management of security solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring a robust and resilient security posture. This position requires a hands-on technical profile, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a structured and service-oriented environment.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support in the implementation of security improvements across the Microsoft Security stack
• Assess and improve security posture across endpoints, identities, applications, and cloud workloads
• Implement and optimize Microsoft Defender modules
• Manage and support security solutions within Microsoft Office 365 (SaaS), Azure, and Endpoint Security
• Recommend and apply best security practices aligned with Microsoft frameworks and standards
• Act as a trusted advisor for cloud and SaaS security environments
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure timely resolution of security-related issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure and efficient IT operations

You Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Security stack
• 5+ years of experience as a Security Consultant
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (SaaS) Security, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Defender
• Microsoft Security certifications such as SC-100 and AZ-500
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Fluency in Portuguese

Nice to Have

• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure
• Additional Microsoft Security certifications: SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, MS-500
• Microsoft Identity certifications: MS-100, MS-101
• Microsoft Cloud certifications: AZ-104, AZ-300, AZ-301
• Industry-recognized security certifications such as CCSP, CCSK, or CISSP
• Understanding of modern security and cloud best practices
• Experience working in international environments

Location & Eligibility

• Candidates must be based in Portugal
• Hybrid regime: 3 days on site per week at the Lisbon office and 2 days remote
• Standby duty: two weeks per month, ideally starting one month after onboarding
