Summary

The Scrum Master role facilitates Agile transformation by guiding Scrum teams, embedding Agile principles, and improving collaboration to increase organizational agility.

Responsibilities

• Act as a servant leader for one or more Agile teams, guiding them through the Scrum process and promoting an Agile mindset.
• Coach teams on Agile and Lean values and principles, helping them continuously improve their value delivery.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives; ensure active participation and adherence to Agile practices.
• Help teams identify and remove impediments blocking progress.
• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a clear, prioritized backlog and support efficient workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement by fostering learning and adaptation.
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and stakeholders to improve Agile practices across the organization.

Must Haves

• Scaled Agile Framework experience.
• Experience coaching teams in Agile practices.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM).
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Nice to Haves

• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification.
• Proactive and adaptive mindset.
