Technical Product Owner (f/m/x)

Description

Join a project focused on implementing a modernized Point of Sale (POS) system across the sites of a global retailer. Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Owners, and stakeholders to understand needs and ensure teams deliver the right solutions at the right time. The role supports digitalization projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

This is a hybrid role requiring work from the Warsaw office 2 days per week.

Tasks

• Work with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to understand needs and priorities.
• Drive discussions on expectations and requirements within the Scrum framework.
• Ensure teams build the right solutions at the right time.
• Understand the domain and provide clear requirements to the team.
• Gather requirements and develop models, documents, and specifications for delivery.
• Proactively manage the team backlog, including priorities and scope.
• Build strong cooperation with other development teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Strong business analysis experience.
• Deep understanding of Product Owner responsibilities defined in the Scrum Guide.
• Proven record of leading complex international digitalization projects with top-management attention.
• Business acumen, analytical mindset, interest in technology, and previous product management experience.
• Customer focus and experience in agile projects with dependencies on legacy systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and planning skills, as well as critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Advanced English and Polish.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with SAFe methodology.
