About the Project

You will join a large-scale, highly international project in the Nordic financial sector focused on the Home journey — the complete process a customer goes through when buying a home in the Nordics.

In this role, you will lead QA efforts within an Agile Release Train (ART), collaborating with team members in Poland, the Nordic countries, and India.

  • Process compliance: Ensure required testing types and levels are planned, executed, and reported according to internal processes.
  • Continuous improvement: Drive best practices, secure test enablers such as environments and data management, and increase test automation KPIs and coverage.
  • Leadership and coaching: Act as a sparring partner to ART leadership, address testing skill gaps, and coach team members to support high-quality agile deliveries.
  • Stakeholder communication: Proactively report test status, quality metrics, and risks to IT and business stakeholders; align priorities across Product Management, Architects, Release Management, and Scrum Teams.
  • Release readiness: Assess release readiness, secure test evidence before go-live, and align test schedules with deployment plans.

  • Strong financial-domain knowledge, preferably within mortgages.
  • Experience leading QA throughout the full project lifecycle, preferably in a test automation environment.
  • Extensive experience with test management tools, functional and non-functional testing, E2E testing, test automation, and test data management.
  • Expertise in planning and following up on system testing, integration testing, and UAT, including dashboard and presentation reporting.

  • Familiarity with Java, Kafka, C#, Weblogic, SQL, and mainframe technologies including Cobol and ASP.
