Full Stack Developer (Python/React)

Senior • Remote

Warsaw, Poland

Description

Develop and enhance a modular Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) SaaS platform supporting information security, risk management, business continuity, and data-protection processes. The platform delivers scalable, reliable compliance-management capabilities for public-sector organizations and large enterprises.

Responsibilities

  • Join the client frontend team initially and extend a generic React/TypeScript interpreter and component catalogue with new field types, layouts, and actions as modules migrate.
  • Implement frontend support for the view-descriptor contract defined by the backend team.
  • Transition gradually toward backend work as frontend effort decreases with each migrated module.
  • Take on backend tasks for simpler referenced-only/read-only modules under Lead and Backend guidance, then contribute to the schema/view-descriptor layer.
  • Align schemas, actions, and permissions across the backend/frontend boundary with the Lead.
  • Support frontend contract testing against golden fixtures.

Must-haves

  • 4+ years of backend engineering experience delivering production projects.
  • Strong full-stack production experience with React, Django, Django REST Framework, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with JSON Schema and config-driven UI patterns, including interfaces driven by structured configuration.
  • Solid backend fundamentals: relational data modelling, REST API design, serializers, validation, and clean data contracts.
  • Strong automated testing practices, particularly with pytest, and ability to build reliable, maintainable test coverage.
  • Ability to understand an established architecture, conventions, and patterns in a large, mature codebase.
  • Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep Django REST Framework expertise, including multi-tenant SaaS platform experience.
  • Working knowledge of React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with schema- or metadata-driven architectures, especially JSON Schema and configuration-driven approaches.
  • GRC/compliance domain knowledge, including governance, risk, compliance, controls, audits, or related workflows.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to change projects and develop expertise in different business domains.
  • Mentoring and onboarding support.
  • Annual bonus opportunity of up to an additional EUR 1,000 per month, depending on expertise and participation in company activities.
  • Access to a corporate training portal.
  • Certification compensation, including AWS and PMP.
  • Referral program.
  • Private health insurance and sports compensation, depending on employment type.
