Responsibilities

  • Support the design, configuration, development, and enhancement of SAP Human Capital Management Payroll solutions.
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective functional and technical solutions.
  • Configure and maintain SAP Human Capital Management Personnel Administration and Payroll components.
  • Develop and maintain payroll-related schemas, rules, wage types, features, and infotypes.
  • Participate in solution design workshops and requirements analysis activities.
  • Collaborate with business users, analysts, developers, and testing teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support functional testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and production deployments.
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and taxation requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll and human resources technology landscape.

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated experience delivering SAP Human Capital Management solutions with a strong focus on Personnel Administration and Payroll.
  • Extensive hands-on experience configuring and customising SAP Human Capital Management.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and payroll accounting principles.
  • Experience working with infotypes, wage types, schemas, rules, and features.
  • In-depth understanding of SAP Payroll structures, tables, programs, messages, views, transactions, and function groups.
  • Ability to analyse complex business requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, taxation requirements, and compliance considerations.
  • Experience supporting solution design, business analysis, and functional testing activities.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and enterprise-scale system delivery.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to Advanced Business Application Programming development activities.
  • Knowledge of Structured Query Language and database technologies.
  • Experience integrating SAP with external systems through application programming interfaces and other integration methods.
  • Knowledge of reporting frameworks, forms, and data dictionary structures.
  • Experience working across human resources and finance technology domains.
  • Exposure to international payroll processes and multi-country payroll environments.
