Systems Analyst

Dublin, Ireland

This is a new requirement for a Systems Analyst to support the Technical Solution Delivery Team, which develops and maintains business-critical systems for internal and external customers and is responsible for the Solution Architecture discipline, including defining and refining the Target Technical Architecture, Standards, and Principles. The role bridges business needs and technological solutions on a full-time basis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyse existing systems and business processes.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business and technical requirements into documentation.
  • Create artefacts such as user stories, documentation, diagrams, and models.
  • Review third-party artefacts and provide feedback to the Solution Architect.
  • Support Development and QA teams throughout development and testing.
  • Support the Solution Architect in developing and documenting Technical Architecture.
  • Provide input to project and resource planning, budgeting, and implementation.

Key Requirements

  • Experience gathering user requirements and translating them into user stories.
  • Experience developing project artefacts, including Data Dictionaries, API Guides, and Release Notes.
  • Experience documenting best practices and procedures for the Systems Analyst role.
  • Experience supporting a Solution Architect or Technical Architect in defining and documenting Technical Architecture.
  • Experience reviewing third-party artefacts and providing feedback.
  • Knowledge of databases, including Relational Data Design: MySQL, MariaDB, and MS SQL.
  • Knowledge of widely used text formats: JSON and XML.
  • Strong communication skills in technical and non-technical environments.
  • Ability to quickly research and learn new technologies, tools, and techniques.

Other Details

This position involves constant interaction with various stakeholders and requires advanced analytical and communication skills. The role is projected to be full-time and based in a collaborative work environment.
