Software Designer / Solution Architect

Project Overview

The solution aims to centralize digital task-management activities across stores and headquarters through a unified platform using a headless architecture. It will integrate with the MyStore platform and use Zebra Workcloud Task Management as the core task engine.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and architecture.
• Guide the build team through the software design process.
• Integrate new solutions into the existing IT landscape.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to internal team members.
• Create relevant architecture documentation and specifications.
• Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in software architecture and solution design.
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills for knowledge transfer.
• Experience with headless architecture and task-management solutions.
• Ability to manage functional and non-functional requirements.
• Familiarity with architecture definition documents and system diagrams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a retail environment.
• Understanding of integration processes between packaged and custom solutions.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.

Other Details

The project is expected to run from September 2026 to July 2027, with an average allocation of 3 days per week and higher involvement during the initial project phases.
