System Analyst (Map software)

Tasks

• Create detailed technical documentation for existing complex map solutions and map-data systems.
• Work with engineers, architects, and technical leaders to understand map-data publishing, including data models, APIs, schemas, publishing pipelines, and semantics.
• Identify and contact relevant subject-matter experts across a large engineering organization when information is not documented.
• Translate complex software, data, and semantic concepts into clear, structured, technically accurate documentation.
• Review technical specifications, implementation notes, and engineering materials to extract and organize key system knowledge.
• Structure documentation for technical users and AI systems that require organized, searchable content.
• Design and maintain scalable information architecture and documentation standards as the product and its semantics evolve.
• Identify gaps, ambiguities, and inconsistencies in specifications and technical content; work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Validate documentation accuracy with engineering and product stakeholders before publication.
• Help create documentation that engineers, product teams, suppliers, and AI/LLM-based tools can use for consistent technical understanding.

Requirements

• Working experience with digital map or navigation solutions.
• Experience in software or system analysis and technical documentation creation.
• In-depth technical understanding of software architectures, data models, APIs, schemas, data flows, and semantics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, design documents, and configuration details.
• Strong interviewing and consulting skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of initiatives.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to work on a B2B contract in Poland.

Nice to Have

• Software engineering experience.
• IT-related degree.
• Experience with Java, Azure, or AI development tools.
