Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Java applications leveraging Azure cloud technologies in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Working from the office in Krakow or Wroclaw for 3 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications that meet business requirements and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Utilize Azure services and technologies to build scalable and efficient applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development and cloud computing.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java 18+, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture Style.
• Skills in RESTful API development, including OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Skills in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL databases for database management.
• Knowledge of Hibernate and JPA for ORM implementation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Background in Azure cloud platform.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Splunk.
• Expertise in testing frameworks including JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and JBehave.
• Competency in messaging and integration technologies such as Apache Kafka and REST.
• Knowledge of security and authentication practices using OAuth2, JWT, and Spring Security.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.

Nice to have

• Background in the financial services industry.
• Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
