As a Senior Software Engineer, you design and develop distributed back-end applications in the Google Cloud. With your products, you enable our customers to quickly and flexibly determine the appropriate target groups for coupons, newsletters and more. This means that you take responsibility for an integral part of the PAYBACK marketing platform in all four markets Germany, Austria, Poland and Italy. Your responsibilities:Collaborate with your UX team, Product and business colleagues to design unique, user-centered features for the PAYBACK App and other PAYBACK digital experiences.Understand challenging problems from both user and business perspectives and translate them into effective UX/UI concepts and prototypes.Test your concepts with users before they are developed.Work closely with developers throughout implementation, ensuring that the final product reflects the intended user experience and design quality.Collaborate closely with the UX team to continuously maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring that your designs align with and leverage its principles and components.Work as part of a diverse team of Product Managers, UX Designers, and Developers from over 10 countries.Put the user at the heart of your work while balancing user needs with business goals.Your Profile:Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX / User Experience Design for native mobile apps (iOS and Android).Ideally, a degree with a focus on Interaction Design, Information Design, Interface Design, Psychology, or a similar field.A creative mindset and a strong sense of interaction design that creates experiences our users will enjoy.You enjoy tackling novel and complex problems.Strong ability to manage complexity, coupled with a hands-on mentality.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong proficiency in UX design tools, especially Figma, is essential.Experience working with design systems; knowledge of how to connect design systems to code is a plus.Experience in motion and interaction design, particularly with tools such as Rive, Figma Motion or similar, would be a strong advantage.Fluent English is essential; strong German language skills are a significant advantage.Please send your cv in English and include link to your portfolio in it.How about?Employment contract?Of course.
