Senior Python Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
- Take technical responsibility for Python-based product audience management, including architecture, integration, testing, and operations.
- Develop and extend backend components in a message-driven architecture on Google Cloud using established patterns and best practices.
- Contribute expertise to architecture and design discussions and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Monitor and support the running application as part of a regular operations rotation.
Profile
- Several years of relevant experience designing and developing distributed backend applications, preferably in Python.
- Readiness to develop applications in Python, including for candidates coming from a different language background.
- Strong command of common software design patterns and development best practices, including Clean Code and SOLID principles.
- Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORM frameworks, especially SQLAlchemy.
- Practical experience with CI/CD processes and tools, ideally GitHub, Terraform (IaC), and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of message-driven architectures.
- Proficiency in test automation; Test Driven Development (TDD) is desirable.
- Familiarity with agile procedures and development methods, such as Scrum and Kanban.
- DevOps practice and experience operating applications in a production environment.
- Experience with cloud technologies and architectures, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery, PubSub, and CloudRun.
