Project

Join an international engineering team developing next-generation Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) solutions. You will test power electronics inverters and other key vehicle components in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, collaborating with experts across countries and disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system and design requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test cases in line with ASPICE processes
  • Prepare and maintain HIL-based test plans for system, integration, and functional verification activities
  • Design and execute System Qualification Tests, Hardware-Software Integration Tests, and System Element Integration Tests
  • Execute tests, analyze results, and ensure adequate test coverage
  • Identify, document, and track hardware and software defects through resolution
  • Collaborate with development teams to investigate issues and validate fixes
  • Support release activities by preparing release-verification tests and test summary reports
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes

Expected competences and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of microcontroller hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, and electrical circuits
  • Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including CAN
  • Good knowledge of C and Python, with a basic understanding of MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape models
  • Familiarity with CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI VeriStand, TestStand, ControlDesk NG, ConfigurationDesk NG, Jira, Polarion, Plastic SCM, and Bitbucket is preferred
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) is an advantage
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English is required; German and/or French is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
