Krakow, MA, Poland

Salary: 900–1200 PLN/md B2B

Work model: Hybrid from Kraków (3 days per week from the office)

Why choose this offer?

  • Contribute to advanced automotive software development through SIL simulation and AUTOSAR-based solutions.
  • Play a key role in building and evolving SIL infrastructure, with a strong focus on software development.
  • Work with modern embedded and simulation technologies, including AUTOSAR, Virtual ECUs, Simulink, and CAN/LIN.
  • Join an eMobility project focused on electric and hybrid vehicle development.

Project

As a Software Engineer – SIL Infrastructure Development, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) simulation environment used for virtual validation of embedded software stacks based on the AUTOSAR architecture. The project supports early-stage integration and continuous development of automotive systems.

This is a development-focused role centered on building and evolving the SIL infrastructure. While collaboration with testing teams is encouraged, the primary responsibility is infrastructure development rather than the execution of test campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate virtual ECUs for the SIL environment, based on AUTOSAR architecture.
  • Build interfaces between the SIL environment and plant models, communication buses, and test automation tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute simulation strategies.
  • Optimize simulation performance and fidelity for large-scale system integration.
  • Analyze and debug SIL infrastructure issues.
  • Document architecture, workflows, and usage guidelines for internal teams.

Expected competences and knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in embedded systems, software development, or simulation.
  • Proficiency in C for embedded software development.
  • Solid understanding of embedded systems and AUTOSAR architecture.
  • Exposure to AUTOSAR configuration artifacts such as ARXML, A2L, and NVM definitions.
  • Ability to work with version control systems, e.g. Git.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Experience with SYNOPSYS Silver or a similar virtualization tool.
  • Familiarity with Simulink, plant modelling, or FMI/FMU-based simulation.
  • Comfort with scripting or automation tools, e.g. Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Understanding of CAN and LIN communication protocols, including signal-level Tx/Rx behavior.
  • Familiarity with build systems, e.g. Make and CMake, and cross-compilation for host execution.
