Senior QA Automation Engineer

Summary

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of the platform. Working within a Scrum team, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business analysts to build scalable automation solutions that support rapid, reliable software delivery.

You will design and implement automated test frameworks, expand test coverage across the platform, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines. You will also drive quality best practices and improve testing infrastructure used across teams.

This is a hybrid role requiring work from the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable automated test frameworks and regression suites
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery
• Expand automation coverage across functional, integration, and system testing
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
• Identify quality risks early and drive continuous improvement in testing processes
• Contribute to shared automation libraries and testing infrastructure
• Advocate for quality engineering best practices across the development lifecycle

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in software testing within a process-driven technology environment
• Strong programming expertise in at least one modern object-oriented language, such as Java, C#, JavaScript, or Python
• Hands-on front-end testing experience using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks
• Back-end/API testing experience, including REST APIs, HTTP, and SOAP services
• Solid database understanding with practical SQL experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical ability, and problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have

• Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical test plans
• Experience designing and implementing automation tests for web or desktop applications
• Experience developing and executing automation test scripts across web, desktop/native applications, APIs, and batch processes
• Experience creating and maintaining test cases, scripts, and automated testing tools for multi-tier applications
• Experience with performance-testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, or similar
• Experience maintaining manual and automated test libraries for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
• Familiarity with PowerShell or Bash

Education

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, another technical discipline, or Business with an MIS background
• Master’s degree strongly preferred

Compensation

Minimum salary: 182,004 PLN gross annually.

The minimum salary applies to the primary location. The applicable minimum may differ if the candidate works outside that location. Salary is determined using objective, non-discriminatory criteria, including the position, work type, skills, responsibilities, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, employment length, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered.

Employees may also be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
