Senior QA Automation Engineer (AI-enabled Platform)

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design and develop a scalable, AI-enabled test automation platform for web services and APIs. In this role, you will leverage modern test automation frameworks, JavaScript, Selenium, SQL, and cutting-edge AI capabilities to build intelligent automation workflows that enhance software quality and accelerate delivery. You will create reusable automation solutions, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and implement AI-powered features for test generation, execution, failure analysis, and reporting. Working with cross-functional teams, you will define automation standards and optimize testing infrastructure to support efficient, data-driven quality engineering across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop an enterprise-grade test automation platform using JavaScript, Selenium, SQL, and API testing frameworks.
• Build and maintain reusable automation libraries and components to ensure scalability and maintainability across projects.
• Integrate automated testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and accelerate software delivery cycles.
• Develop and implement AI-powered automation capabilities for intelligent test generation, execution, failure analysis, and reporting.
• Automate web service and API validation, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define and enforce automation standards and best practices.
• Optimize automation infrastructure architecture to support high-quality, scalable testing across multiple projects.
• Analyze test results, identify patterns in failures, and implement intelligent solutions to improve test reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation for automation frameworks, libraries, and processes.
• Mentor team members on automation best practices and emerging technologies in AI-enabled testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript for test automation development.
• Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with API testing frameworks and tools, such as RestAssured, Postman, and Axios.
• Experience designing and building scalable test automation platforms from the ground up.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience integrating automated tests into pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with AI-powered testing tools or developing AI capabilities for test automation.
• Demonstrated ability to create reusable automation libraries and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional team environments.
• English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.

Nice to have

• Python programming knowledge for test automation.
• Experience with machine learning concepts applied to quality engineering.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, for test environment management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP, for test infrastructure.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Knowledge of test data management and generation techniques.
• Exposure to Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, such as Cucumber and Playwright.
• Certifications in test automation or quality assurance, such as ISTQB.
