You'll collaborate with a major bank, diagnosing and resolving functional issues for users within their Murex environment, ensuring efficient application usage.ResponsibilitiesAct as the 1st line of support for all stakeholders across front, middle and back office functionalityDiagnose and resolve functional issues for users within the Murex environmentCollaborate with front office users onsite as well as business users directlyManage incidents, problems and changes according to established processesPrioritize and coordinate workload according to differing business prioritiesShare knowledge via training calls and internal documentation of issue resolutionsContribute to migration and/or upgrade activities, including testingPropose new ideas to streamline and automate processesRequirementsKnowledge of front, middle and back office functionality as the support function is the 1st line of support for all stakeholders Familiarity with Agile ways of working Knowledge of SNAP/JIRA/Confluence as a subset of Agile WoW Good knowledge of various asset classes and products such as Derivatives, FX, Equities, Fixed IncomeVery strong communication (verbal/written) skills – will be dealing with FO users onsite as well as business users directly Incident, Problem and Change Management knowledge Desire to share knowledge via training calls, internally documenting the resolution of issues and sharing with the team Ability to manage and prioritize workload according to business need, and strategically coordinate differing priorities from different business areas Past experience in migration and/or upgrade activities is desirable, as well as testing experience Strong growth mindset; new ideas of how to streamline/automate processes are always welcome Some Technical experience (SQL, Unix) is also desirable Knowledge of FX and IRD products with optionality will be considered a plusNice to haveTrade Entry (FX and IRD products with Optionality, structured trade products)Datamart/Reporting Trade Lifecycle (Contract, Exchange Task workflows, DataDictionary) FO Simulation Views (portfolio simulation by trade/by position/on the fly simulation)Realtime setup/RTBS/Market Data troubleshooting (Intraday as well as EOD) Integrations with other systems e.g., Markitwire, Bloomberg, etc. Pricing/structuring of trades – PL impact of trade actions, etc.FO/Valuation modules strong knowledge preferableRoutine activities such as IMM, EOQ, etc.
