Roles and Responsibilities

Android Developer

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and expertise in the following:

• Solid experience in mobile engineering.
• Hands-on experience using Kotlin to develop Android applications.
• Experience as a technical expert on the Android platform and competency with industry-standard libraries.
• A good eye for design and the ability to implement the latest Material Design components and animations.
• Experience with Dagger2, RxJava2, Retrofit2, Redux, and third-party library integration.
• Strong knowledge of UI and core architectural design patterns.
• Solid experience writing unit and UI tests; familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, and source-code versioning tools, specifically GitHub.
• Familiarity with security concepts and integrations, including HTTPS, certificate pinning, encryption, decryption, and data protection.
• Deep experience working with Android engineering teams to build and maintain large-scale applications, or experience building such applications personally.
