C++ Developer (healthcare)

Our expectations

• Several years of senior C++ development, preferably in high-performance, heavily parallelized desktop systems.
• Strong command of modern C++ (C++14/17/20), IT security, multithreading, and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with CMake, Conan and MSVC.
• Structured, analytical working style with high quality standards.
• Fluent English required. Good German is an advantage.

Welcome Skills

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools (building agents, skills, workflows); familiarity with AI pipelines, harnesses and context engineering.
• Knowledge in IT security topics, e.g., BSI Grundschutz.
• Background in regulated or healthcare software.
• A degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering or a comparable technical field (relevant experience can substitute).

Key tasks

• Develop and maintain C++ components for the desktop application, with priority on IT security and stability.
• Based on existing security requirements, analyze the existing code, develop fixes for security issues and improve the security of the product.
• Work with the Architecture, QA and Product Management teams to deliver secure, maintainable, high-quality solutions.
• Use AI coding agents (for example, Claude Code) in daily work to speed up code analysis, fix issues, and contribute to the team’s shared agents, skills and prompt templates.
