Senior C++ Developer (Windows)

We are looking for an experienced Senior C++ Developer to join our client’s engineering team and help build and enhance next-generation trading and backend platforms. This is an opportunity to work on highly scalable, performance-critical systems in an international environment where technology plays a central role in modern financial markets.B2B contract – salary range: $45–65/hour (no paid vacation included)100% remote job 5–6 hours daily overlap with the New York time zone is requiredResponsibilities:C++ application developmentParticipate in application design and implementationEnhancement of existing technological platformIdentification and resolution of security vulnerabilitiesDevelopment of back-end servicesDesign and write unit testsParticipate in code and design reviewsRequirements:5+ years of commercial experience with C++Strong knowledge of object-oriented and low-level programming conceptsSolid understanding of:multithreadingconcurrency and synchronizationsockets and networkingevent-driven architecturesWindows native APIs and OS internalsExperience with debugging complex issues such as memory leaks, race conditions, deadlocks, and stack corruptionGood understanding of software engineering best practices, including unit testing and code reviewsExperience working with databasesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within international teamsDegree in Computer Science or a related fieldNice to Have:Experience in the financial industry, especially Fixed IncomeKnowledge of Python scriptingJavaScript experienceUnderstanding of communication protocols and network programming fundamentals
