Senior Network Engineer - Data Center Network

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer – Data Center Network to join a critical IT infrastructure environment supporting the German financial services sector.You’ll take technical ownership within the Data Center Network area, working with highly critical infrastructure where stability, security and reliability are essential.Your responsibilitiesProvide technical leadership and coordination for Network EngineersManage and troubleshoot Cisco ACI – APIC, EPG, ContractsWork with Cisco Nexus – NX-OS, vPCAct as Technical Lead during major incidents, including 24/7 on-call availabilityTake responsibility for Change, Release, Incident and Problem ManagementSupport network planning, design, architecture and optimizationImplement and quality-check network configurationsPerform advanced troubleshooting in line with established ITIL-based processesMaintain technical documentation and configuration recordsSupport preparations for the future introduction of Huawei CloudEngineWhat we’re looking forCCNP or CCIE Data Center, or equivalent expertiseStrong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI and NexusExperience in technical leadership, coordination or mentoringSolid Data Center networking backgroundITIL knowledge is an advantageExperience with Huawei DCN, or willingness to learn quicklyFluent English; German is an advantageAnsible/Python and CheckMK knowledge is a plusWhat’s on offerB2B contract€40/hourStart: ASAPInitial assignment until 31 December 2026, with possibility of extensionInternational, technically advanced environmentOpportunity to work with critical Data Center infrastructure in the financial services sectorA senior role combining hands-on engineering, technical leadership and operational ownershipIf you’re an experienced Cisco Data Center Network Engineer who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges and taking ownership in critical environments, let’s talk.
