Main responsibilities: - Apply technical expertise to develop high-quality applications and systems in line with requirements and standards. - Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary, Agile product team to design and build distributed microservices using modern technology stacks. - Define and maintain technical quality standards across platforms. - Build strong decision-making and problem-solving skills within your area of expertise. - Produce efficient, maintainable code that aligns with business needs and technical dependencies. - Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure software performance and reliability. - Challenge code and design quality to uphold industry standards and project excellence. - Contribute to automation test coverage and quality assurance processes. - Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders. - Promote innovative technologies and mentor engineering colleagues. You’re ideal for this role if you have: - Minimum of 5 years’ senior experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes. - Practical experience working with Cloud platforms, especially AWS. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, and Groovy. - Expertise in API design standards: Swagger, OpenAPI 3.0, REST, JSON, and Microservices architecture. - Knowledge of authentication and authorization via OAuth 2.0, with experience using Kong API Gateway. - Familiarity with Agile testing methodologies, particularly TDD, and extensive Agile/Scrum development experience. - Ability to work closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. - Strong problem-solving capability with a focus on innovative, scalable solutions. It is a strong plus if you have: - Experience with additional cloud services or certifications. - Knowledge of DevOps practices beyond the core technologies listed.
