Custom Software Engineer

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and enhance software components for a large‑scale technology initiative within the Software Engineering organization.

The role focuses on building scalable and high‑performing solutions in C++ and Linux, with direct contribution to an unmanned traffic management system for drones used by real‑world customers. You will work independently, actively participate in team discussions, and provide expert technical input throughout the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build software systems that support real‑world drone operations and deliver features used by drone pilots around the world.

• Develop and enhance components across systems and applications using modern frameworks and engineering practices.

• Work with large‑scale technical infrastructure and ensure that delivered solutions meet performance and reliability expectations.

Qualifications:

• +3 years of experience working with C++ and demonstrate expert‑level proficiency.

• Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles and modern development practices.

• Advanced proficiency in working with Linux environments.

• Ability to work independently and develop subject‑matter expertise.

• English proficiency and experience working in a professional environment.
