Java Backend Developer

Who are you?

Your profile:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Java Developer.

• Strong knowledge of Java 8+ and Spring Framework.

• Experience in building RESTful services

• Good understanding of Linux/Unix environments and Bash scripting.

• Experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes usage.

• Experience in writing unit and integration tests.

• Knowledge of software design patterns and clean code principles.

• Good English communication skills (B2 or higher).

• Ownership mindset and ability to work independently Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and shell usage.

What do we welcome?

• Experience in C/C++

• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).

• Experience building RESTful services and APIs.

• Familiarity with messaging systems such as JMS and ActiveMQ.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with JIRA or similar issue-tracking tools.

Why do we need you?

You will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java (8+) and Spring Framework

• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices ensuring high performance and reliability

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following clean code principles and design patterns

• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality

• Work with Docker containers and support deployments in Kubernetes environments (basic level)

• Operate and troubleshoot applications in Linux/Unix environments, including writing and maintaining Bash scripts

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver high-quality solutions

• Take ownership of features and components, working independently when needed

• Participate actively in code reviews and technical discussions

• Communicate effectively in English in an international environment
