Senior T-SQL Developer

As a part of the DFS IT team within Securities Services cluster you will contribute to providing new solutions for operational teams and be actively involved in technical discussions and decision making within development team.

This position will give you the unique opportunity to cooperate with dynamic, cross location squads of Business Analysts and Developers to ensure continuity and guarantee the quality and sustainability of the application.

Senior T-SQL Developer

Responsibilities:

• Perform impact analysis of the required changes and their consistency with the existing architecture related to the software.

• Develop new code and maintain existing code respecting the best practices defined.

• Design and execute test plans to ensure system reliability.

• Test developments to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Create technical and functional documentation to support the application lifecycle.

• Propose and implement new solutions based on industry’s best practices.

• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries and Stored Procedures (Sybase).

• Create,modify, and optimize Linux shell scripts to support operational needs.

• Assist Application Production Support Team in resolving complex technical issues.

Requirements:    

• Expert level T SQL (Sybase) - 4 + years of hands on experience in development and optimization.

• Proficient Linux scripting - solid experience writing and maintaining shell scripts.

• Basic knowledge of Python, WTX, and SAP Business Objects (or willingness to upskill quickly).

• Experience working within a global organization and collaborating with teams across multiple locations.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze challenges and find effective solutions.

• Proficient in understanding complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).

• A team player who shares ideas and best practices within the team and across the organization.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
