Senior IT Developer, Kotlin

About the role

As an IT Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the development, enhancement, design and ongoing support of applications throughout their lifecycle. You will work on complex application components, ensure system reliability and performance, and support smooth daily operations through high-quality technical solutions.

Responsibilities:
•    Design, develop and maintain complex, business-critical application and system components
•    Take end-to-end ownership of solutions, from requirements analysis to implementation and production support
•    Investigate and resolve incidents and problems, including root-cause analysis
•    Support technical design decisions with focus on scalability, performance, security and maintainability
•    Review code and architecture to ensure quality, consistency and best practice standards
•    Identify technical debt, risks and improvement opportunities, and actively drive continuous improvement
•    Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA, operations and other IT teams
•    Mentor and support junior developers through coaching, code reviews and knowledge sharing
•    Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge bases and operational runbooks

Requirements:
•    Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Informatics, Computer Science or a related field
•    Solid experience in software development and maintenance of business applications
•    At least 3 years of experience with IT service management and incident management, preferably in a logistics environment
•    Experience working in Agile teams; DevOps experience will be an advantage
•    Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable solutions
•    Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
•    Good understanding of business and IT processes
•    Team-oriented mindset, good communication skills and willingness to share knowledge
•    Fluent English, both written and spoken
