The Role We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our current QA team. You'll take ownership of how we test, validate, and sign off on quality across our platform. Developers support QA by providing hotfixes and a dedicated testing branch with a restored database. Product Managers Provide clear evidence and detailed descriptions of issues so the Product Manager can assess their severity and user impact to determine whether they are release blockers. Discuss edge cases and user flows not covered in the ticket description or acceptance criteria, and document the expected behavior. Highlight risks in delivery ( too many critical issues found during the testing phase, potential ticket revert). Engineering Manager Your direct manager. Conduct regular 1:1s with you, provide development and tooling support, collaborate on problem-solving, monitor QA team progress, and review your work output. Career Growth We have a defined career ladder. Whether your path leads toward Senior/Staff QA Engineer or Engineering Management, there's room to grow - and we'll work with you to get there. Onboarding Every team member gets full support throughout onboarding, and no one expects you to figure out the ins and outs on your own. We'll pair with you, answer every question, and make sure you have the context you need. New hires typically feel very supported at Miaplaza. What success looks like here: In the first couple of months, you're asking a lot of clarifying questions, reading documentation, exploring the product independently, and writing and running tests with confidence. By months 3-4, you're taking ownership of a specific area, building out test coverage, identifying gaps, and driving quality improvements. By months 5-6, you're contributing meaningfully to the testing strategy for migration and modernization work and operating independently. The common thread: curiosity, initiative, and the habit of investigating before you ask, but always asking when you need to. Interview Process Our process is staged and designed to respect your time. Expect a mix of introductory conversation, technical discussion, and practical evaluation. We want to understand how you think about real problems and testing practices.
