About The Role

Agility Robotics is looking for a Senior Manager, Incoming Quality Control and Supplier Quality Engineering (IQC/SQE). The Senior Manager will lead the strategic vision and daily execution of global supplier quality and incoming material control frameworks. This role is responsible for ensuring that all components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods supplied by external partners meet stringent design, reliability, and compliance standards before entering the production lifecycle.

As a key leadership figure in Technical Operations, you will build and scale a high-performing team of Supplier Quality Engineers and IQC technicians, foster a collaborative culture of continuous improvement, and drive technical accountability across the global supply chain.

About The Work

Strategic Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a world-class team of SQEs and IQC inspectors/technicians.
  • Define and execute the roadmap for scaling IQC and SQE operations to support new product introductions and high-volume global manufacturing.
  • Partner closely with Design Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Compliance teams to transition products from design to mass production.

Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) & Governance

  • Establish qualification frameworks for new suppliers.
  • Lead technical and quality system audits to ensure supplier capabilities align with product requirements.
  • Drive execution of APQP, including PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans with global suppliers.
  • Develop and monitor supplier quality dashboards tracking metrics such as DPPM, SCAR response times, and yield rates.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with critical vendors.

Incoming Quality Control (IQC) & Material Compliance

  • Oversee the IQC laboratory, including metrology equipment, automated inspection systems, and SOP optimization.
  • Utilize statistical sampling plans such as ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 to optimize inspection workflows.
  • Lead the MRB process for non-conforming materials and engineering change order implementation.

Continuous Improvement & Root Cause Analysis

  • Own the SCAR process and ensure suppliers apply disciplined problem-solving methodologies including 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to reduce variability and optimize incoming quality workflows.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Systems, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Global Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Operations.
  • 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ISO 13485.
  • Experience with GD&T and advanced metrology tools.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, SPC, and root-cause analysis.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
  • Authorization to work in the USA.

As a key member of the team, you will serve as a people leader, responsible for managing a team on the operating floor. Your main objective will be to optimize the ICQA process, utilizing advanced tools, methodologies, and data analytics to ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely inspections, and quality control. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities: ICQA Operations and Quality Assurance: - Support safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates. - Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts in accordance with network count strategies, ensuring compliance and consistency with SOX regulations. - Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy while providing proactive feedback to the operations management team. - Review and analyze customer complaints and defect data, followed by developing action plans to reduce future incidents. - Plan for and identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause and effect analysis. - Participate in and lead network-wide fulfillment and operations-focused quality initiatives.
