Area Manager

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking individuals for a full-time position in our inaugural fulfillment centers, with a focus on ICQA (Inventory Control and Quality Assurance). As an ICQA and Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a crucial role in launching and operating fulfillment centers by ensuring efficient inventory management, maintaining high quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

As a key member of the team, you will serve as a people leader responsible for managing a team on the operating floor. Your main objective will be to optimize the ICQA process using advanced tools, methodologies, and data analytics to ensure accurate inventory tracking, timely inspections, and quality control.

Responsibilities

ICQA Operations and Quality Assurance

• Support safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Coordinate inventory control maintenance and random counts in accordance with network count strategies and SOX regulations.
• Measure quality, inventory integrity, and accuracy while providing proactive feedback to the operations management team.
• Review and analyze customer complaints and defect data and develop action plans to reduce future incidents.
• Identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause and effect analysis.
• Participate in and lead fulfillment and operations-focused quality initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects with department managers.
• Analyze KPIs and process metrics to optimize operational performance.
• Develop and implement SOPs and best practices for ICQA processes.
• Contribute to technology solutions that improve inventory control and quality assurance.

Team Management and Development

• Lead and manage area managers and hourly associates in ICQA operations.
• Drive team performance, employee development, and engagement.
• Motivate and mentor team members.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in a science or logistics-based discipline with strong analytics focus preferred.
• Understanding of finance, accounting, and inventory relationships.
• Background in logistics, distribution, or similar environments.
• Inventory Control and Quality Assurance management experience.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Bonus Points

• Experience with SQL and reporting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $64,800—$89,100 USD.
• Bonus, equity, medical, dental, and flexible time off benefits.
