Senior Accountant (Revenue)

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically strong Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team in a revenue-focused role within a high-volume SaaS environment.
In this role, you will own revenue accounting and recognition under ASC 606, work directly with complex datasets, and collaborate with Finance Systems, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Billing teams.
What You'll Do
Revenue Recognition (ASC 606)
- Support month-end revenue close, including preparation of revenue-related journal entries
- Assist with reconciliations of invoices, deposits, and other revenue-related accounts
- Review customer contracts to identify performance obligations and recognition timing under ASC 606
- Maintain and improve revenue recognition documentation and audit memos
Data Analysis & Reconciliations
- Reconcile revenue sub-ledger to the general ledger across Salesforce, Stripe, and contract management systems
- Run SQL queries against Snowflake to analyze revenue data and support reconciliations
- Identify and investigate data anomalies and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Build scalable reconciliation frameworks for high-volume transaction environments
Audit & Technical Accounting
- Prepare PBC schedules and technical accounting documentation for auditors
- Support revenue recognition remediation and process improvement initiatives
- Assist with technical accounting research and policy documentation
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with Finance Systems, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Billing teams on contract review and order-to-cash processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3–5 years of accounting experience focused on revenue accounting
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and contract review
- Experience with high transaction volumes and ambiguous datasets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Location: Remote Reports To: Corporate Controller Key Responsibilities Accounts Payable Leadership - Lead and manage day-to-day Accounts Payable operations across multiple business entities and locations. - Develop, mentor, and manage AP staff while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. - Establish and maintain AP policies, procedures, best practices, and internal controls. - Ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, payment execution, vendor reconciliation, and month-end close support. - Own month-end cut-off and AP process flow, including applying payments and reconciling expense bank accounts. - Oversee invoice coding and credit card syncing. Board Support & Acquisition Integration - Support acquisition onboarding and integration activities. - Lead AP workstreams related to acquisitions and roll-ups. - Standardize AP processes across newly acquired entities while maintaining compliance. - Partner with leadership to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
