Display Quality Engineer

Summary

The team is looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer responsible for delivering and executing tests to help maps work seamlessly on the web. The ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of core web technologies, a solid understanding of web browsers, programming expertise, and proficiency with web developer tools for various browsers.

Main Responsibilities

• Enhance current testing infrastructure.
• Validate builds and deployments for web maps releases.
• Work closely with the development team to design and implement new tools that improve product quality and team processes.
• Test large-scale web applications.
• Build clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios and test plans.
• Investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems.
• File issues and report the status of current and in-development features.
• Work in Agile/Scrum methodologies and rapid-release environments.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Requirements

• Hands-on experience testing large-scale web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and rapid releases.
• Programming expertise and proficiency with web developer tools.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of network security fundamentals.
• Performance testing experience.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
