Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and social/developmental histories for children of various ages
- Conduct autism diagnostic evaluations for children of various ages
- Utilize research-based assessment tools including ADOS-2, WPPSI-IV, Bayley-IV, Conners Early Childhood, BASC-3, and Vineland
- Write comprehensive diagnostic and psychological reports
- Provide recommendations and assist therapeutic teams in designing interventions
- Participate in treatment, feedback, and team meetings
- Maintain positive communication between supervisors, employees, and families
- Ensure compliance with government and agency regulations and operating standards
- Provide group and individual counseling and parent training as mandated by a student's IEP
- Participate in IEP conferences, annual reviews, and special meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Psychology
- NYS Licensed or Limited Permit Psychologist
- ADOS-2 training preferred
- Experience working with or evaluating children on the autism spectrum
- Experience evaluating preschool-age children
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting children and families
- Bilingual skills are a plus
