The Role
We're hiring our first dedicated recruiter. Nearly every open role today is technical—AI/ML, voice infrastructure, applied AI engineering, data, and design—and the pace of hiring is accelerating.
As the Founding Technical Recruiter, you'll own the full recruiting lifecycle for these roles, from sourcing through offer, and build the talent function itself: the processes, tooling, employer brand, and hiring standards that will support future growth.
You'll report directly to the CEO and partner day-to-day with engineering and product leadership. This role requires building recruiting processes from the ground up while owning searches end-to-end for senior technical talent.
What You'll Do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across Engineering, AI/ML, Data, and Design—from kickoff and sourcing through interviews, references, and closed offers
- Build pipelines of senior engineers and researchers through outbound sourcing, referrals, communities, and events
- Partner with leadership to define role scope, success profiles, and evaluation criteria
- Build recruiting processes, interview frameworks, scorecards, ATS hygiene, metrics, and reporting
- Deliver a strong candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Represent the company’s product, traction, and technical standards to candidates
- Track recruiting metrics, identify bottlenecks, and improve sourcing and hiring processes
