About the Role
App Platform Engineering builds and maintains the foundational mobile and web platform that all product teams build on top of. The team owns the architecture, shared frameworks, build and release infrastructure, design system, and developer tooling that enable faster and higher-quality product delivery.
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager in Kraków and work with peer teams in Poland and the U.S. The role follows a hybrid model with three days on-site and two days remote.
You Will
- Own the architecture and evolution of the mobile and web platform used by 10+ product teams
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, feature flagging, and rollout infrastructure
- Lead the shared component library, design system, and localisation engine
- Partner with UX to define standards for performance, accessibility, and observability
- Enable product teams through documentation, tooling, and architecture reviews
- Help the team stay current on React Native and AI-assisted development
- Mentor junior engineers and uphold quality and regulatory standards
You'll Bring
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 7+ years building products at scale, including platform or infrastructure work
- Proficiency in TypeScript and at least one of Go, Java, or Kotlin
- Experience building shared platforms, frameworks, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience managing the full web release lifecycle
- Experience designing data layers between backend services and client apps using GraphQL, BFF patterns, or similar API contracts
- Experience working with design systems at scale
- Experience onboarding teams onto platforms through documentation and APIs
