Partnering with the Porter and Dishwasher team, a Glass Polisher is meticulous and has a keen eye for detail to ensure crystal clear appearance of all glassware.
A successful Glass Polisher plays a crucial role in maintaining a sanitary and clean experience for members and guests that enforces increased customer satisfaction, reduces the number of spotty glasses, and adds an attractive, polished appeal to the glassware selection.
Main Duties
- Partner with Porters and dishwashers to inspect, dry, and stock sanitized glassware to support Front of House (FOH) service
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and applicable laws
- Dispose of broken, chipped, or defective glassware
- Clean and polish stemware, flatware and all bar glassware
- Restock glassware for bars and minibars in partnership with barbacks and housekeeping
- Communicate effectively with team members to uphold service standards
- Support bartenders in wiping down bottles and maintaining the bar area
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
