AdventHealth Georgia is seeking a BC/BE Physician to join our growing team in a unique opportunity, practicing 50% inpatient rehabilitation medicine and 50% outpatient interventional pain management. This position offers an excellent balance of inpatient and outpatient care within a respected, mission-driven health system focused on whole-person care.
The ideal candidate is PM&R trained (or similar) with an interest in combining functional rehabilitation with procedural pain management in a collaborative, high-quality clinical environment.
Inpatient Rehab (50%)
- Provide medical management for inpatient rehabilitation patients, including stroke, orthopedic, neurologic, and debility cases
- Lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehab teams
- Conduct patient evaluations, daily rounding, and discharge planning
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional improvement and safe transitions of care
- Participate in quality improvement
Outpatient Interventional Pain Medicine (50%)
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Perform interventional pain procedures
- Provide comprehensive pain management utilizing multimodal and evidence-based approaches
- Coordinate care with referring providers, physical therapy, and other specialists
Job Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) or related specialty
- Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine preferred (or equivalent procedural experience)
- Eligible for or active Georgia medical license
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in both inpatient rehab and outpatient interventional pain settings (preferred)
